Sydney Opera House from the Harbour

Sydney Harbour Bridge

Opera House and Bridge just fit in the frame together!

Forms of the Opera House

Playing with the forms

John outside the Bruce Whiteley Studio - now a museum to his art, including this scupture outside.

He's perhaps best known for the artwork on Dire Straits' album 'Alchemy'. The original of Alchemy covers 9 door-panels ... huge ... with many tiny details in it.

The Opera House seen from Doyle's on the Quay, with 2 plates of succulent fish 'n' chips in front of us!

Duly fortified, we climbed the stairs to the 'car-deck' level of the Harbour Bridge - with stunning views of the Opera House

Just think of all those thousands and thousands of nuts and bolts and rivets that hold the bridge together!

East Circular Quay in the evening - a great place to stop and sip a cool glass of Ozzie white wine to chill out totally after a hard day's sightseeing

The Blue Mountains - so called because the Eucalyptus Trees give the very air a blue tinge

The Three Sisters

Wonderful bark patterns!
